Al Mumyan cave

A really short but dramatic cave-hike - if you are around Yitti, it is worth the detour. You can stop to see petroglyphs and you can hike deeper into the wadi for an other cave.

Location of cave is here, you can park here 23.488266, 58.615808. From the parking you can see the cave looking straight/up. There is no path or mark, just climb. Inside the cave there is a rope to help with the climbing and it is pretty helpful as the ground is very loose.

Here you can stop for the petroglyphs.

The bigger cave is marked on google map here and you can find recorded trails on wikiloc - we did not try this.

To reach parking spot for the cave you will drive a few kms on gravel road, but it is manageable by salon car.

The cave is located in Wadi Al Maih, which has plenty of interesting stuff to see - read all about them here!
