Hello!

Welcome to our blog! We love to travel and integrate it with our lives - Oman is the 7th country we call home since 2006. We have lived and worked before in Hungary, Germany, Dubai, Qatar, Denmark and Germany again (do not ask ...). This blog is about our travelling in Oman -  we plan to discovery this beautiful country from the mountain tops through wadis to the ocean, every bit of it! 

The reason why we created this blog is to inspire others to explore this stunning country. There are no good travel books providing information on hikes, the newest hiking guide was written 20 years ago (and the hikes average around 5-6 hours) and blogs tend to talk about the same 10 wadis which means popular sites can get very crowded . You can find a lot of info on Facebook or Instagram but you literally have to hunt for them and it is not that easy to find info on kid-friendliness. All the hikes featured here are kid-friendly and equally enjoyable by adults: our daughter completed them all - usually with noticeable ease compared to her parents!
