Muscat day trip - if you do not want to stay overnight or camp. All these trips can be done as daytrip from Muscat although some might require an early start.

Muscat hike - there are tons of great hiking options right in Muscat - these are what we tried. Check out the Badass Lady Hikers page for more inspiration, they mainly focus on Muscat hikes!

Toddler friendly - easy hikes, off-road driving and city destinations suitable for younger kids (5+ yo), who can safely walk and keep their balance. Some trips listed here are not completely toddler friendly but have suitable  sections or can be made toddler friendly with modification - I always mention which sections are these exactly. 

Salon car friendly - the best way to fully enjoy what Oman has to offer is to invest in or rent a 4wd as many sights only accessible with a suitable car. However you can still do a lot with a salon car - check out what exactly!

Wadi with swimming - the most fun hikes undoubtedly are the ones with pools - nothing better then a good splash at the end of the hike! They are usually also a great destination for warmer months!
