Al Amerat - Mahj Cave

A fun and short hike - relatively straightforward into the wadi bed until you see the cave on your right. It seems possible to continue into the wadi although we did not try. We left after breakfast and the wadi started to be in the shade so it seems to be a good option for warmer days as well. The climb up to the cave and inside the case is steep and slippery, be careful! Besides this last section the rest is very much toddler friendly. It is possible to make a round trip out of it but we did not manage to find the way so we just backtracked our steps.

Location for parking: 23.4961, 58.5162 You will see a big red electricity thingy, start walking to that direction. There were blue dots here and there to follow, but really there is only one way. 

Salon car friendly.
Time: 2 hours to the cave and back.

Came back in 2020 with the badass lady hikers - we did not notice before, but can you see how the cave screams? :)
