Oman, here we come !

Here we are, all 3 of us together..

It was mid February when we last met... shortly before Oman closed the boarders. When restrictions started to raise everywhere we tried to fly back (Finn has been in Oman since January) just the day before the official boarder closing but we were denied boarding (Lufthansa did not have the right info in their system and they rejected to check with Oman Air - we still have this ticket outstanding..). Imagine, Alma and me with heap of luggage at 6am in the airport of Hamburg, not being able to fly and knowing we will not be able to meet Finn for months... it was not nice, I can tell you.

What came afterwards was a turbulent couple of months with 3 loved ones passed away in 2 countries. How we felt is well illustrated with what Alma said once: it is only 3 months to Christmas ! I asked : are you excited for the presents ? The answer was: no, it means this year is finally over ...

However finally we are here, together and our adventure can begin! We have lived in the Middle East for 6 years before and we fell in love with Oman.  We always wished we could live here - and it actually happening now! We will travel every part of this beautiful country and we cannot wait!
